The Rama government has undertaken an attack to silence the voice of the free media, refused to be sold to the government, JOQ Albania. The largest online media in Albanian-speaking lands, with the power of spreading information to young and old, has been seen since its creation the main enemy of the government.
This has been proven by constant attacks and pressures from the tools of the government, which is basically afraid of the fourth power, that of conveying government affairs to the people. The Albanian government currently in power is known not only in international reports for the mistreatment and contempt of journalists critical of its work, whose morals and ideals rest far from those sold in government propaganda, but also for blackmail and threats against these journalists.
The publicizing of some galloping thefts with Public Funds, the embezzlement for personal interests in their pockets of the people's taxes, hurt the wound of Rama government, which took extreme measures against the editors of JOQ Albania.
The site's domain was closed by AKEP without a court decision and investigative media journalists were declared wanted by the State Police. At a time when the earthquake has destroyed a good part of the country, the government did not afford the video where their subordinates weere stealing people's food.
The decision was unexpected and not based on the law, which is why there has been a reaction from many international organizations for the protection of media freedom.
